TRICIA SCHWIETZ

Owner & Instructor

Tricia is the Owner of Dance and Entertainment Studios, which first began in 2008 in Woodbury, and moved to Stillwater in 2021. She teaches all styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country dancing. Tricia has been named Top Teacher and Top Studio multiple times at ballroom dance competitions, along with her students winning Top Student Awards. In addition to teaching in our ballroom, Tricia is a licensed Travel Agent and organizes and teaches at Resorts and on Dance Cruises- make sure to sign up for our next dancers’ getaway!

Tricia lives in Afton with her husband Scott, kids Lucas (15), Olivia (13), and two English Golden Retriever dogs Maverick and Penny! Tricia’s husband Scott is a contractor and owns Top Shelf Home Services. You may occasionally see him on winter days remodeling and updating the ballroom!

Being involved in the community has always been important. Tricia is a member of the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, Woodbury Chamber of Commerce, Oakdale Chamber of Commerce, Woodbury Lion’s Club, University Club of St. Paul, and a Sponsor of the Woodbury Royal Ambassadors. We are honored to have been named both 2023 Stillwater and 2012 Woodbury’s Business of the Year!

TROY LERUM

Dance Instructor

  • 2023 4th Place Top Teacher

Troy is on his 5th year teaching with us. Prior to our studio, he taught for 20 years at Dancers Studio. Troy lives in St. Paul, and grew up in Pepin, WI. In addition to Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country dancing, Troy has a background in Ballet and African Caribbean dance. Troy studied body movement and has a degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University.

Gail has been a long time student of ours, and now teaches Group Classes, Private Lessons, and is a Dance Host at our dance parties!

Fabiola “Fabi” has been a long time student of ours, and helps at our dance parties wherever she is needed- front door check-in, bartender, and dance party host dancing with other students!
